Ministry of Spiritual Healing (M.O.S.H.)

Ministry of Spiritual Healing (M.O.S.H.)

Ministry of Spiritual Healing (M.O.S.H.) is a non-profit ministry that provides Christian-based prayer, biblical guidance, and spiritual healing services to individuals seeking restoration and an identity in Christ.

What To Expect

What does the process of spiritual healing look like? Sessions usually last 45 minutes to an hour, and normally occur every other week. The program traditionally consists of 6-8 sessions; however, this is based on the leading of the Holy Spirit and may take more or less sessions than that. In each session, you will meet with two people, Carly Sharland and a prayer partner. The prayer partner’s role is to pray over the session, help with notes, and to support any needs that arise during the session. Confidentiality is maintained by Carly and the prayer partner, based on mandatory reporting guidelines. All appointments take place at Epic Community Church in Portland. We are a non-profit ministry, so our services are completely free.

A Word from Carly Sharland

"From a very young age, I felt a deep awareness and conviction to be a spiritual agent of change--to take personal experiences of abuse and trauma and use them as a common language to speak Christ’s healing into others in the midst of their pain. Understanding both the biological and spiritual implications of trauma empowers me to advocate for those who do not yet have the spiritual identity or weaponry to effectively fight in life’s spiritual battles. My own journey, from personal pain into God’s wholeness and healing, clearly revealed the purpose for which God created me for. The Holy Spirit equips me with wisdom and insight to identify the spiritual source of other’s wounds and empowers me to respond to the lies of the enemy with God’s Truth.

As a high school teacher, coach, social worker, spiritual healing consultant, wife, and mother of three, I have spent my life serving others and being a fierce advocate for mental and spiritual health. The mind, body, and spirit are intimately connected, in both health and in hurt. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, I endeavor to compassionately provide effective and targeted processes to help identify and heal spiritual trauma. Only when the human soul has been healed, through the power and love of Jesus Christ, can an individual experience true healing.

Shalom Shalom"
