Welcome to our
Children's Ministry!
Our children meet with Pastor Lynn on Sunday mornings for Growth Groups at 9:30am and Children’s Church at 10:30am, and they also gather on Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm for our Midweek Gathering. Nursery is available for children up to age four.
The following Growth Groups are available for children on Sunday mornings:
109 – The Parables with Erin Sharp (2nd–3rd Grade)
113 – Major Stories of the Bible with Pastor Lynn Simpson (Pre-K–1st Grade)
114 – The Book of Joshua with Pastor Bart Simpson (4th–5th Grade)
During
Kids’ Worship, after gathering together to praise the Lord through song and movement, our children dive into God’s Word through our current
Into The Bibleverse: Finding Our Superpowers In Christ series. Each week, they explore a Bible lesson that gives new understanding of the powers we get when we follow God. These include the power of Peace - our force field; the power of Prayer - to shrink our problems; The power of Joy - to find superstrength in the Lord; the power of Faith - to stretch us; the power of Life - to give us eternal life; the power of Trust - so we can fly like eagles; the power of Love - so we can be invisible and Jesus will shine through us; and the power of Telling others about Jesus - so we can replicate ourselves through discipleship. These creative activities are designed to reinforce the biblical truth being taught while encouraging imagination and expression. Along the way, children are discovering that God is the ultimate Creator and that His Word speaks to every part of life.
