Chocolate Walk

We are excited to partner with our Friends of the Red Mill for the 7th Annual Portland Chocolate Walk on Saturday, October 3, from 9:00am–2:00pm! 

As hundreds of people make their way through local businesses and organizations throughout Portland, we have a wonderful opportunity to welcome some of our neighbors through our doors—and we need a few friendly faces to help us do it! Volunteers are needed for two shifts: 9:00–11:30am and 11:30am–2:00pm. You will be stationed just inside Door 2, next to Taggart’s Playground, where your job is simple: greet our guests, initial their Chocolate Walk sheet, and hand them their chocolate. Guests will also have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a free two-hour party at Taggart’s Playground.

That’s it! No complicated responsibilities—just a smile, a warm welcome, and a chance to meet some new people as they step inside our church. It’s a simple way to serve and a great opportunity to show hospitality to our community. If you’re willing to help with either shift, please let Pastor Jimmy know as soon as possible!
